“Where to start? I’m not going to lie, affording the workshop was a huge stretch for me and taking the plunge to just do it was a leap of faith. But now that the workshop is done and a few days have past to allow me to digest everything I can honestly say that what I learned in those 3 days were more valuable to my photography, my business, and my life than any dollar amount. Cheesy? Yes. True? Ab-so-lutely. It was more than just the information but the people and the creative energy that was a part of the workshop. When Jon says that he is an open book he means an open library. ANYTHING about his technique, workflow, business, and even his personal life he is willing to share. He was so incredibly generous with his time and knowledge the entire workshop that I was completely blown away. From going out to a 3 hour dinner with us (yeah, no joke) to being willing to go out and shoot personal work he was more than willing. I suppose he could have just let us go out while he hung with his entourage but he didn’t. I came away from the whole thing totally invigorated about my photography and my business. It more than exceeded my expectations and I have no regrets about taking that financial leap of faith. None. Zip. Zero. Anyone that is thinking about it or on the fence, send them my way because I am a believer in film and this amazing workshop.
