I can’t begin to express what an amazing time I had at FIND. Even after reading all of the raves, the workshop went above and beyond my expectations. Jon is not only an amazing photographer and teacher, but also a very decent human being. I appreciated his honesty, his breadth and depth of knowledge and his open heart about photography and warmth towards us. I thought a fellow attendee said it well, that Jon genuinely wants each of us to succeed. I came away with very helpful technical knowledge about film, exposure, workflow and posing. It’s been said so many times, but it’s true that Jon is an open book. He doesn’t hold back information and willingly answers questions, as narrow or as broad as they are. Along with the technical, I left with inspiration and motivation to work hard and strive for excellence. Also, I loved meeting my fellow attendees, Callie, some of Jon’s family, Bill from RPL and the models, who were all such fun, sincere and awesome people. It’s such a gift to get to spend time with fellow photographers. Thank you for an awesome time. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
